Cindy-Lee Davies : Kids Mirrors

This is a set of four mirrors designed by Cindy-Lee Davies. They are silhouettes of childhood acts: to dance, to climb, to wear, and to discover.

These mirrors freezes the childhood activities on your wall. While you look into the mirror, you
may rediscovering yourself in the image of a child.

These mirrors don't necessarily have to be for kids. I like this product because it's a subtle way of bringing back childhood memories and playfulness to our everyday lives.

Kyouei Design: Balloon Lamp

This is a balloon lamp that is made with polypropylene balloon and clear LED bulb.
Kyouei experimented with different shapes and materials for this product. I like this product because it's combination of two completely different things. The balloons create something that is very simple and esthetically pleasing. When combined together, these balloon lamps can create an elegant chandelier-like light while standing alone, these balloons can be fun for decorating parties.

Dror for Target: Stacking Bookcase

Dror designed a collection for the superstore Target that consists of affordable and uniquely designed home goods. Dror's products could be easily customized into any space and are easily portable. The concept behind this line reminds me of IKEA's products, they could be collapsed and the designs are fun, targeted to young adults or college students. One of the products in this collection that stood out to me was the stacking shelf, which are cube-shaped units that could be combined together to make a shelf or organized in some other fashion.

Form Us With Love for Sagaform: Boat Life

Sagaform's Seafood collection consists of a colorful set of kitchenware that is inspired by the Swedish summer life. These products appeal to me mainly because I like products that are colorful and playful. They are fun and makes the dining experience more enjoyable. The colors used in this collection associates with the memories of summer on the beach. The shapes used are very simple yet unique and it's different from the traditional plates, bowls, and spoons.

Target + Red Cross: First Aid Preparedness Emergency Starter Kit

The American superstore Target collaborated with Red Cross to create a first aid starter kit. This product's packaging appealed to me the most. The product does not look like the usual chunky first aid kit and the design of the kit is light and simple that you wouldn't mind owning one just for it's looks. The instructions inside the kit are very clearly illustrated and the kit itself is very user friendly, perfect for those who have little to no idea about first aid.
